Your Phone Can Listen

It is not about being careless. Typing is hard, the apps open in English, and the fear of pressing something wrong is the same fear that stops you checking. Learning to ask your phone questions is what breaks that.

EVERY PERSON LEAVES WITH A CERTIFICATE
Better Together
You do not need to be good with phones. You do not need to read English well. You need two hours and the phone you already own. Nobody will rush you, and nobody will take your phone away from you to do it for you.
Come with your parent, or send them and ask what they learned. The skills are the ones you have been doing for them: asking the phone a question, checking a message, spotting a scam call. Two hours here saves you a lot of phone calls later.

Your Voice Quiz Score
At the end of every workshop you take a short quiz — by voice or on paper, in your own language. It shows you what you learned. It is not a test you can fail, and your score is not shown to anyone else in the room.

What we collect
When you attend a Senior Voice Connect workshop, we collect your name, your age, a contact number, the date and place of the workshop, the topic you chose, and your Voice Quiz score. If you agree, we also take photographs of the session.
Why we collect it
Three reasons. To run the workshop and give you your certificate. To report attendance and results to IMDA, who fund this programme through the Digital for Life Fund — this reporting is a condition of the funding. And to improve the workshops.
Who we share it with
We share attendance records, quiz results and photographs with IMDA, and with the government agencies that administer the fund. We may confirm your attendance to the Active Ageing Centre that invited you. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else without asking you first.
Photographs
We ask for your permission separately, on the form you sign at the workshop. If you say no, we will not photograph you. If you say yes, IMDA may use the photographs to talk about the Digital for Life movement. You can change your mind at any time and we will stop using your photograph going forward, though we cannot recall material already printed or published.
How long we keep it
We keep workshop records for at least five years after the programme ends. Our funding agreement requires this.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. Contact us at hello@healthy-tec.com. One thing we cannot undo: attendance figures already reported to IMDA form part of the funded programme's records and cannot be withdrawn from them.
Marketing
We will not send you marketing messages unless you separately tell us you want them.
Questions or complaints
